Did Frist give aid to a white shooter rather than to a black cop after a
shooting spree in the Capitol building? And the cop ended up dying?
Is this true of just "Leftist" bullshit?

3. Where did you find this bit of information?
Stuff like this, you don't post without a link as far as I'm concerned.

8. Unfortunately, both links provide the wrong info
If there was any question as to which person Frist chose to assist, the Repukes have hidden it........of course. Then again, it could have been the real? doctor coming out, helping the victim in the worst shape. Not really sure about that 'cause I don't think Frist really knows what the hypocratic oath is.

6. Did you know that the gunman Frist resuscitated had
... shot and killed his 14 cats that day before his Capital shooting spree? I remember everyone saying the cat killer saved a cat killer.

I hear it all the time so there's got to be a story I'm sure I'll regret knowing. Can someone enlighten me?

11. He used to go to the SPCA and adopt cats to practice medical procedures on
He pretended to adopt them for household pets but instead he would kill and slice and dice them. ICK!

Here's a link that explains it.

13. Blast from the Past: DeLAY and Tweety
I don't know whether the shooter was after DeLAY, as somebody perhaps jokingly said above. A skimming of the links thoughtfully provided above yields that the incident ended up in DeLAY's office suite and one of the dead officers was assigned to him.

But what has been a source of barbs at DeLAY for me was what I THOUGHT I remembered, that as soon as the shooting began, DeLAY hopped on a plane out of town (to Houston?), and since the incident was over by the time he got there, hopped right back. Hence, my delight in calling him, Tom-DePLANE!-DePLANE!-DeLAY.

The multiple links provide only confirmation that he hustled out of the building 15 minutes after the incident began, without mentioning what he did next.

As for Tweety, in the aftermath, when the slain officers were duly eulogized and called heroes, Tweety latched on to this, the way we have seen him attempt to elevate himself in other instances: Like saying he was assigned in the Peace Corps to THE SAME AREA THAT CHURCHILL passed through; like saying, "I am an ICON! I have been 'done' by SNL!". So now that the Capitol policemen were being called heroes, Tweety came forward to say that HE had been a Capitol policemen when he was starting out. It turns out that he had worked a (temporary?) job for three months as that. In the years after, he probably NEVER referred to that job, probably thinking of it as a rent-a-cop turn. Until he could attempt to glorify himself.

http://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-srv/national/longterm/shooting/stories/scene072598.htm

House members, many rushing out of town, did not have to remain behind. DeLay slipped out the main door of the Capitol less than 15 minutes after the shooting. He looked stricken. Asked if he'd seen anything, he said, "Did I ever. I don't want to talk about it." Aides rushed him into his waiting car.
