If Jeb Bush is successful in taking custody . . .

of this woman to "protect her" from a law he doesn't agree with, what is to prevent him from "taking custody" of pregnant women entering abortion clinics to "protect" the fetus from similar laws he does not support.

State-sponsored kidnapping.

I'll be organizing protests if JB thumbs his nose at the courts and steps in illegally.

Kidnapping is a felony. Don't know the penalty in Florida, but in Iowa it's life without parole. Jebbie would be an open criminal if he ordered Mrs. Schiavo to be kidnapped and should get the same as any other kidnapper.

does this mean he is responsible for all her medical bills or does he pass it on to the taxpayers? If he gains custody, let him pay her bills out of his own money.

No court would uphold such an obvious abuse of the law.

But once he has her, they have to force him to give her up, it shifts the battle completely and puts Michael at a great disadvantage.
