MSNBC.com uses vile graphic to present news of Supreme Court ruling
Edited on Thu Mar-24-05 11:02 AM by Newsjock

(active as of this writing)

God loses? What the blazes!?!?

My only hope is that, with public opinion so overwhelmingly one-sided on this, the cable news media whores end up paying dearly in viewership and respect (they have any respect left?) for their shameful pandering to an extremist agenda through this whole sad, sordid affair.

Edit: Wow, that was fast... they've already changed the image they're using on their homepage -- no more cross. But it's still stored in their system, as long as it keeps showing up in this post.

Yes, when it's the religious wackos vs the rule of law, the law SHOULD prevail.

8. Although it will never happen, people who are running for
public office or applying for teaching jobs should be screened to be sure that their value system is reality based, rather than faith (fantasy) based. The human race can't survive leadership that operates from a fantasy set of values.

12. Perhaps "What the Duce?" would be more appropriate of late

4. That was my first thought also
when I first looked at the photo, but the more I thought about it, the more it seems appropriate. It is, after all, the RW extreme evangelicals that have taken it there. What more appropriate symbol could they have used?

'Course I suppose they could have photoshopped a locket with DeLay hanging from a chain.

10. Yup
Looks like it lasted all of about 20 minutes before it got changed.

Another "overzealous volunteer" doing his bit for The Evangelical Cause? Or is there an actual war of values happening deep down inside the bowels of MSNBC?
