"Err on the Side of Life" and The Iraq War
I challenge anyone here to explain to me how a person could say, "err on the side of life", while fighting an unnecessary, unprovoked war. Explain to me the mindset that can produce such logic.

1. What logic?
There's your answer. There is no logic, only what benefits the BFEE.

2. First of all, the court documents specifically say the default IS life
they DO err on the side of life. They found *clear and compelling* evidence of what she would want.

But yeah the irony is pretty thick.

3. Yes, I want them to explain this "Culture of Life" thing
Because all I see is a Culture of Death. Everyday people are slaughtered in Iraq for corporate interests, and there is a direct line of cause and effect that leads directly to George W. Bush --George W. Bush the man, who is personally responsible for all the death and destruction.

"Logic"? They wouldn't know logic if it slapped them in the face.

4. Iraq war was framed up as a war to protect the world against
a "mad and brutal" dictator. The people who believed the one believe in the other.

5. The footnote to that quote is:
"Does not apply to brown people living in lands with lots of oil. Your mileage may vary. See dealer for details"

:-)

6. I've been stewing about this very thing all morning.
If we had given a fraction of the time that it's taken debating the Schiavo case to whether or not it was a good idea to invade Iraq, perhaps 100,000 innocent Iraqis and 1500+ U.S. forces would still be on this earth. You can't be "pro-life," give a damn about the "sanctity of life" or "err on the side of life" if you order the slaughter of innocent people.

7. Erring on the Side of Life Would Mean Allowing The U.N. Inspectors
to complete their job.

8. He's full of shit! 100%, ten lbs stuffed in a five lb bag.
He is not trained to tell the truth or to be sincere. His handlers have him say whatever he needs to to boost his image and pander to his brain-dead, servile base.
Thats it!
