So, when his book is mentioned and that he advocated pulling the plug on babies and harvesting their organs...:poof: he disappears.

HOW EFFIN FUNNY PEOPLE! ROTFLMAO

Dude, y'all have got to love this. We need to read his books and papers so we can pull that shit out on his ass when ever he peeks his square head out of the dungeon.

4. The book is called Transplant
Look at this thread from last night:
http://www.democraticunderground.com/discuss/duboard.php?az=show_mesg&forum=104&topic_id=3336088&mesg_id=3336088

"Near the end of the book, for example, Frist suggests changing the legal definition of 'brain death' to include anencephalic babies, who are born with a fatal neurological disorder but show just the slightest hint of brain-stem activity. Such a change would make it possible to harvest their organs for transplant--something the Catholic Church and pro-life groups oppose. 'Three thousand anencephalic babies were born a year, enough to solve our demand many times over--but we never used them.'"

He wanted to pull the plug on babies in the same condition as u know who. He's saying with minimal brain stem activity and u know who has none.

9. Not sure about that, but....
He shure seems to be a wacked out Dr Jeckle or something;

"He tells us of the rewards: "It can even be beautiful and thrilling work, as I discovered that day in the lab when I first saw the wonderful workings of a dog's heart .... I spent days and nights on end in the lab, taking the hearts out of cats, dissecting each heart, suspending a strip of tiny muscle that attaches the mitral valve to the inner wall of the cat heart and recording the effects of various medicines I added to the bath surrounding the muscle."

......
"But the contemplation of eternal truth was threatened, alas, by something mundane: "I lost my supply of cats. I only had six weeks to complete my project before I resumed my clinical rotations. Desperate, obsessed with my work, I visited the various animal shelters in the Boston suburbs, collecting cats .... "

COLLECTING CATS!!!:freak:
