"They (Bush & Koizumi) are war criminals..." -chess legend, Bobby Fischer
That's what Bobby Fischer told a large group of reporters about Bush and Japanese Prime Minister Koizumi, upon being freed from Japan. That and then some.... http://www.usatoday.com/news/world/2005-03-23-fischer-freed_x.htm

The saga of Bobby Fischer is interesting, to say the least. It's a shame he's developed anti-Simetic views, but he sure hit the nail on the head concerning Bush, calling him a war criminal in front of the mass media.

1. I hadn't heard the anti-Semitism.

What has he said?

On edit: I admittedly don't know much about Fischer.

3. Never mind, I found his web site.
"Bobby Fischer does not wish to return to the Jew-controlled USA where he faces a kangaroo court and 10 years in Federal prison and a likely early demise or worse on trumped political charges."

Sounds like a real nice guy... :eyes:

2. I don't like him
He praised the 9/11 attacks and made comments far worse than anything Ward Churchill said:

The Budapest station eventually cut him off, but a similar episode occurred after the September 11, 2001 terrorism attacks. Here, Fischer gave a broadcast interview to Bombo Radyo, a small public-radio station based in Baguio City in the Philippines. "This is all wonderful news," Fischer said. "I applaud the act. The U.S. and Israel have been slaughtering the Palestinians, just slaughtering them for years. Robbing them and slaughtering them. Nobody gave a shit. Now it's coming back to the U.S. Fuck the U.S. I want to see the U.S. wiped out."

Just because he makes a correct statement calling Bush a war criminal does not mean that I have to call him a good man or praise his ideology, which is revolting.

4. "They are war criminals and should be hung," he said.
Iceland will now be a new part of the "Axis of Evil" (it's starting to look like a large centipede with all the new legs it's growing  )

6. Speaking of Iceland, maybe this is their way of getting even
with the Chimp, by allowing Fischer citizenship. The president of Iceland has been on Bush's case for some time over global warming. Just as recent as a month ago, he tried to get Junior to come up to Iceland to see with his own two stupid eyes the effects of global warming on the melting glaciers there. No big surprise that the chimp declined his offer.

5. Pattern recognition unleashed on the current political climate...
We live in strange times. Events are crazy, and often, when considered, lead to crazy conclusions.

Not to imply that I support, or don't support, any of his views. Except the War criminals one.
