Since Terri Schiavo is being taken care of by Medicaid, Michael . . .

Schiavo should get an ambulance to take Terri to a Hospice Center in Texas.

WHY? Because Bush, when he was Governor, signed into law legislation that stated that if someone is on life support, but they cannot pay the bill, then the hospital can remove the life support of any kind, whether the family agrees to it or not.

Kind of like they did to that little 6-month-old baby last week.

Then maybe this young woman can die in peace.

OOPS! Almost forgot. You know how they bring up she has never even had an MRI? Medicaid won't pay for them. So why doesn't Jeb or Dubya pay for one if they care so much. Frist could afford it as well as Delay. They don't say anything about Medicaid not paying for expensive tests, but they keep trying to use it against Michael Schiavo.

Just heard on Randi that Michael Schiavo is getting death threats now.

1. seems unnecessary
It looks like Terri's wishes will finally be fulfilled, right there in Florida.

2. An MRI wouldn't work, anyway
because she had electrodes implanted into her brain in 1992, an experimental procedure to electrically stimulate her brain into functioning. It didn't work, but the electrodes remain and would cast shadows that would render an MRI utterly useless.

The courts seem to be shooting down the right to lifers one decision after another. Unless Bush wants to blow the gaffe on his executive dictatorship by signing an Executive Order keeping her alive, she'll probably be allowed to slip away.

I just hope she doesn't do it tomorrow. The fundies would be truly insufferable were she to kick the bucket on Good Friday.
