....I wondered if Ms. Tada ("Ta-daaah!"??) disclosed that her goal is goal is "the advancement of Christian ministry within the disability community." Her webpage:

http://www.joniandfriends.org/

I saw her speaking on King as an advocate for the disabled but didn't hear her mention her crusading activity. Just wondering.

1. Ten bucks says she'll try to peg TS as
"disabled," then moan and groan about how she's being discriminated against, how we shoul, by this logic, starve young children and old people, etc.

2. There is a difference.
Mrs. Tada is alive with full brain activity, albeit a quadroplegic.

Mrs. Schiavo is brain dead with no hope of any recovery.

This is not a disability issue.

3. I first heard about her 30 years ago, when my fundie
grandmother would send me all kinds of crap she's written. The woman is delusional and a real wingnut fundie; she doesn't know the facts of the Schiavo case and is intent in sticking her nose into other people's business.

She said, on Larry King, that if more medical testing showed Ms. Schiavo will never recover she still wouldn't want the feeding tube removed.

Control freak.

5. Ah it's all coming back to me
I remember her from the 70's, didn't know it was the same person. She has a remarkable story; still, an uninitiated viewer should be made aware she is speaking from a "Christian" perspective.
