DeLay became the most powerful politician in Washington!
From Nightline! He knows what people want, and more importantly, what they're afraid of.

When I heard that, my first thought was "The higher they climb, the farther they fall!"

I think DeLay has begun his fast downhill fall, with the investigations, accusations, and the crowning glory...his prominent stand on interveining on the Terri law!

Sit back, grab a beer, and enjoy the show!

1. Not only that . . .
It is very obvious that * got the call from his BOSS to cut his vacation short and return to Washington so he could sign the stupid fucking ridiculous bill.

Bush takes orders from handlers. He is not in control.

But you already knew that.

2. Absolutely! Could have signed that bill while in Tx!
I guess he just likes to fly more than I do! Donpt get me wrong. I do like to fly, but when the flight is longer than 2 hours, I get very board and antsy. Maybe it would be different if I were on AF1, kinda like your living room in the sky, huh?

3. Wonder?
(David Crosby, Neil Young, Jerry Garcia, Phil Lesh and Michael Shrieve)

I wonder who they are
The men who really run this land
And I wonder why they run it
With such a thoughtless hand

What are their names
And on what streets do they live
I'd like to ride right over
This afternoon and give
Them a piece of my mind
About peace for mankind
Peace is not an awful lot to ask

4. Interesting question! I'm sure it's not Shrub!
I think Cheney is a big partner, but the rest is a mystery.
