About the oil refinery disaster this week, what will be the fallout?

About the oil refinery disaster this week, what will be the fallout?
Haven't had a chance to read up on it much, or hear much about it other that updates on the death-toll (what with the 24-hour Schiavo-news and Michael Jackson's latest back spasm). I did hear someone say that with regards to oil supplies it could not have happened at a worse time; that it takes about 5-6 weeks before the loss of refinery capacity will be felt as shortages at the gas pumps.

Just wondering if anyone had heard any more details.

(and my prayers and sympathy to the families affected by this tragedy)
