I want the government OUT of my Death Bed

i want the government out of my bedroom, out of my food and drugs, out of iraq, out of my family's lives, and i definitely don't want any holier than thou asshole stepping anywhere near my death bed.

You don't want safe drugs and pure food?

on just about any given item in a grocery store. They don't make food with actual 'food' anymore. It's mostly chemicals and additives, with just enough food by-product in there to call it food. E.g. 'juice' that's actually only 15 percent real juice, or just about anything in the frozen 'food' section.

That wasn't the question, in any event.

Or how about a government that accepts that consenting adults can make up their own fucking minds about things. A government that says if you want to buy vodka, go ahead- and if you want to drink a case in one weekend, again, that's your choice- it's bad for you, here's a list of AA meetings for when you sober up, but fundamentally it is your decision.. just don't drive. And you know what? We'll say essentially the same thing about marijuana. A government that says, you want to watch porn? As long as everyone involved is over 18 and consenting, it's not our business. Want to eat Wendy's cheeseburgers until your arteries turn to concrete and your blood turns to goo? Hey, fatty, it's your choice- we'll stick to our job, which is to keep the severed human fingers out of the food.

There is a difference between a government that regulates what is sold in the sense of making sure the label matches the product (you can't sell rat piss and call it beer, although many have tried) and a Nanny/Daddy Government that micro-fucking-manages all the choices individuals can make.

I'll take an xtra large order of that as well!

When the job becomes too tough for them they summon the reinforcements of Terry, Falwell, Robertson, Dobson and Swaggert to lay hands on you and start some divine intervention. When that doesn't work and you pass on then they go out and publicly declare that it's all your fault that you died because you just didn't believe, or believe strong enough, weren't open and receptive to their 'healing' enough.
