Netflix a Sean Hannity Advertiser -- Let them know that is not acceptable!

I just went over and DU'ed a Hannity poll and what do I see but an advertisement for Netflix.com. As a long time subscriber and supporter of Netflix in the face of increased competition I plan on writing them a letter and sending them an email. I suggest that any other DU'er Netflix customers do the same!

Personally I despise the man, but they can advertise Hannity so long as they also advertise AAR and the Tonight Show.

The only reason I'd write or cancel membership is if they refused to allow advertising from liberal sources.

affiliations either. Reality is that Hannity has visibility for marketing strategies and sales are king and queen.

I imagine they advertise in many places. I would be more inclined to agree with you if it could be shown that they advertise only to right wing nutjobs, or that it could be demonstrated from more than just this link that they have some kind of right wing bias. I would be pretty disappointed if that were the case.

I am a current customer (and have been since 2000), I sent them a polite email voicing my concern. You all might as well do the same. They are a great service and I wont cancel of this, because really -- even though they are supporting Hannity, they are at separating fundies from their money, which otherwise might end up in the GOP campaign coffers.

I don't think Netflix has control over which sites its ads appear on, if the site in question subscribes to the internet banner ad service that Netflix uses.
