PHOTOS: Oklahoma City, OK...STANDS UP for Peace, says NO to bush* wars

Oklahoma City's March 19 antiwar rally in Memorial Park. Flags, banners, music, poetry and lots of literature from participating organizions was prominent during the peaceful event. A display of combat boots representing the Oklahomans who have died in the current Iraq War reflected the theme for the event, "End the War, Bring the Troops Home Now."

As a former OKC citizen, it brings me joy to see the photos. Thanks for posting them.

BTW: You should collect these on a web page somewhere. If no one else has volunteered to help you do that, I could give it a shot. I work as a web developer. Just PM me if so.

This is the good thing about DU - people actually DU something here to change the course of the grind. Kudos for these posts, you've probably enheartened a lot of people here :toast:
