high gas prices, the passage of the ANWR bill, etc etc.

Next thing you know they'll be asking for a list of terminally ill patients all over the U.S. and getting enough names to keep them busy til 08.

This puts the focus on end-of-life issues.

Somebody (rove) will create shocking news about the costs of long-term care. Somebody else (rove) will overemphasize Social Security as being a typical American's sole source of retirement income. Somebody else (rove) will have the media spark and then fan massive public paranoia of Not-Having-Enough-Money (tm) when you retire.

Then the Repub politicos start farting accusations at the Dems for not being sensitive to the needs of the people.

14. Well, when they control the media, we got a serious uphill battle.

Trying to re-educate the public about the truth doesn't get us very far.

It's harder to overcome an initial impression than it is to set that initial impression. And the Repubs control the visual media, which our human brains have evolved to process faster and believe more than print media or speech media.

We can't give up on the truth and education front, but in order to turn the tide we will need to attack and win on another front.

I'm not sure what that is. We need to get folks together and innovate something.

Further takes steps to make the US a Fundamentalist Christian Theocracy with no separation of powers or checks and balances. Most of the time they act as a distraction from their real agenda. This is actually their real agenda on display. Recognize it.
