Wingers will say "George let her die to make political points"? Or they'll say George was right -- "wicked abortion supporters let her die because they think of euthanasia as the same thing as abortion"?

4. No they will say Bush LIH so he must have LIHOP.

They won't need a "reason." It will only matter that he didn't stop it. Listen to Randall Terry fuming about Jeb Bush giving in. These idiots believe Jeb Bush has the power to make all their wishes come true. It will only become more and more obvious to them, however, that he didn't and won't. And they will therefore conclude that he didn't and wouldn't on purpose.

Even the wingers outside the hospice know that Terri will soon die....what's their "Plan B"?

Face it, they've got some explaining to do....why didn't Jeb (in a fit of testosterone poisoning) rush in and take custody? Why didn't their prayers work? Why wasn't Terri saved by a miracle?

They know all these questions will be asked...what do you think their excuse (plan b) will be?

Last night, Larry King had one of his typical 'Panels from Hell' regarding the ongoing Terry Schiavo drama. For those who aren't political junkies, Epstein is the former Minority Counsel for the House Judiciary Committee. He implied(my take on what he said) that the Repukes in Congress wrote a badly flawed law that was intended 'to save' Terry Schiavo. I think she is more valuable to the Repukes dead than alive. I expect that during the 2006 Congressional contests, Repukes will bring up 'the killing of Terry Schiavo' and blame Dems for the result. I don't think there is any bottom to how low repukes will sink.

6. They may try that, but it should be clear even to them

that they only have a chance to convince the frothing religious right of this, but when Terri Schiavo dies, that faction will be directing their froth at them for "quitting." The task they've set themselves to redeem this situation is immense. This isn't to say they won't succeed, given how low they are clearly always prepared to go to succeed. But I'll bet more than a few were shocked to find out how broadly unpopular their transparent pandering last weekend turned out to be.
