So F 16 to Pakistan
Glad to see we're so buddy-buddy with Pakistan now that we can piss on India. Sure we don't need India at all. I'm sure * phone call set the people of India at ease. I'm glad to see we trust the government of Pakistan so much we are willing to sell them arms. I guess that gives us something more exciting to blow up when Jeb invades them.

1. Wanna bet
that India retaliates by purchasing MiG 29s or Sukoi Su-27s from the Soviets?

3. I think Condi
tried to sell F-16s to the Indians, but they didn't want them. They traditionally buy Russian and they recently started making Sukhoys in India too.

4. Didn't know that
India was building Su-27s...which, btw, appears to be one helluva fighter......

13. Yup
I think it's Su-27, couldn't find the article now, but I read it at this site: http://www.aeronautics.ru/index.htm

The latest generation of Russian fighters tend to be better than their American equivalents, in the opinion of many.

17. Russians make good fighters but lack in electronics.
German MiG-29s routinely take out American F-16s in training flights but I would definately assume Germany has better avionics on their MiGs than the Russians do.

2. relax, we'll sell India some weapons too! Everybody wins.
Except the millions that might expire in a massive India/Pakistan war, but who cares about them, really?

5. I figure
this will solve much of the out sourcing problem. Of course where will I get my online help? Sounds like Indians not taking it well to me.

with Indian Prime Minister Manmohan Singh, who told Bush of his "great disappointment" over the decision, Sanjaya Baru, the prime minister's spokesman said. Singh said that sales to Pakistan would endanger security in the region, Baru said. New Delhi is worried that arming Pakistan with the advanced jet fighters would tilt the military balance in South Asia and could adversely affect the ongoing peace dialogue between India and Pakistan.

8. come on now, indeed.
how anyone could read that and come to the conclusion that I would seriously advocate the death of millions to the detriment of your technical support is simply baffling.

15. It was my understanding that more of the fighters were going to India...
than to Pakistan. They said something about balancing things better in Asia & helping to make India a world power (not to mention the added bonus for Lockheed in Texas). Maybe I heard wrong...watching national news right now; will be back if they talk about it...wonder if they'll mention this?
