I heard one man tried to steal a gun to "rescue" schiavo.
And another man was planning to assassinate Michael Schiavo and Judge Greer.

Apparently, police found a suspicious looking backpack by the courthouse, but were able to take it away and detonate it safely. Can anyone confirm this?

Of course, all of this violent activity is consistent with the "Culture of Life," I'm sure

I'm old enough to remember the Weathermen, SDS, etc.

This country has a long, albeit sporadic, tradition of wasting judges on both sides.

When you play for high stakes, unfortunately that's the way it goes. It sucks, but some people take this stuff pretty hard and personal.

Can anyone here *HONESTLY* say they didn't believe it would come to this once this case and the polarization it caused became international news? I surely can't.

At the very best the chances of this passing quietly were probably 50:50.
