Everybody Has Ignored Florida Law
During all of this debate over the Schiavo issue, nobody has discussed the Florida law which the judges have applied to the facts of the case.

That state's law obviously gives spouses/guardians the opportunity to establish in court what the desires of a persistently vegetative patient are with regard to life sustaining medical treatment.

If people are looking for someone to blame, let them blame the Florida legislature and the governor who signed the bill into law, instead of judges and the judiciary.

2. "Why can't the executive flaunt their power once in a while?"
I keep hearing this alleged argument from the GOP echo chamber. As if the Governor or President has the right to slap around the courts whenever they see fit.

4. The courts need to slap back against the executive branch..
What seems to be the trouble is the 'unchecked' power and abuse in the executive branch. Our world will be in a better state and the US more respected when top leaders here know not to try and 'pull something' jist because it ain't gonna fly!
