Help Us Find Baby Jesus' Rightful Owner

<snip>

PIERCE COUNTY - It was Christmas. Vernetta Carlson had a broken heart.

Thieves stole the Baby Jesus from her nativity scene. Rick Adams of Gig Harbor remembers: "My wife says she saw it on the news on your channel and there was a Baby Jesus stolen." (See earlier story here.)

On Christmas Eve, Rick and his wife were in Wapato Park in Tacoma. The couple noticed two teens laughing about Jesus in the parking lot.

1. Holy Moses. It's not Jesus -- it's Moses. Look at the raft the
doll is riding. Either that or White Water Baby.

2. It's Baby Electric Jesus!
Notice the plug...
Moses wouldn't have had electricity.

3. I think Jesus just up and split.
He really can't stand these people.

4. Oh great, I just had a Warner Bros. moment against my will
An image of Jesus wearing a fedora toting a suitcase like you'd see in a Warner Bros. cartoon when one of the characters had had enough. "I'm outta here."

I agree. Jesus was quite the revolutionary for his day. He'd be for helping the poor. They'd call him a socialist and the people who profess to believe in him would likely crucify him all over again. Such is the life of a Pharasee.

Or worse, they'd form a 517 and smear him him with nasty advertisements showing he's against the troops and for gay people and such.
