Who this f*ck is this Nancy Grace woman on CNN headline?
and why is she so obviously biased? She's talking about that poor Schiavo woman, and is being way fucking blatant?

1. google on her.
she's a prosecutor, (from Atlanta),

donates to dems, but knows how to work it on the reactionary issues, for sure.

10. "donates to dems" - Really?
How much? More than O'Reilly or even Alan Colmes?

How much time does she spend working for Democratic causes?

Where was she during the 2004 election and what did she do? Did she investigate voter fraud?

Has she ever covered police brutality at peace protests and/or defended the victims in court?

Has she ever done ANYTHING for the Democratic party beyond sending a few bucks in order to look good?

17. She's a Dem. She contributes to Dems and defended the Big Dog.

I don't think she's switched but imo, she is taking this thing too personal. I haven't seen her show since it started but apparently she is ticking a lot of DUers off.

Oh and btw...:hi:

23. Hi cat_girl25!
From what I've seen on Court TV and CNN, she reminds me of a witch-burner from Salem. Once in a while someone comes along that has a personality that really rubs me the wrong way, and she is one of 'em. Not much one can do about that, so I don't watch her at all unless it's by accident.

Maybe she donated to the Democratic party, but so did Ken Lay. She defended Bill Clinton, but so did other people I find reprehensible. Now, I wouldn't stop her from helping Dems or the Big Dog, if that were to happen again, but I personally haven't seen her actually do anything helpful for the democratic process.

Her work as an attorney is highly suspect according to links I've read posted here at DU. Those defending her haven't produced any links to rebut the critical ones (from what I've seen thus far). I'm certainly willing to read them if they exist... but that won't change the feeling I get when I watch her now. My intuition tells me that she is one messed up person with a vengeful streak.

There's likely more than one reason why she is on TV now and not in court, where I assume she'd rather be, if she really wanted to fry criminals. I do hope she finds peace one day for her loss... then again, we all have tragedies in life at some point, but most don't go on vigilante-like crusades afterward. Has she ever expressed her sorrow for all the innocent who were executed due to a faulty legal system? Has she ever addressed why so many African Americans are executed on false charges, brought about by zealots like her?

CNN has her on because she appeals to the wingnuts who want to see blood... My view of her is obviously jaded, so I guess I should recuse myself. :D

who got into some trouble with prosecutorial ethics violations. She used to be on Court TV and is very biased toward the prosecution in ALL cases.

12. I could be wrong....but I've heard that said about her many times...
...when she has been hosting Larry King Live.

Larry King has introduced her as "the woman who has never lost a case as a prosecutor" and I heard him discuss this with her. She said it was true.

Whenever I try and watch tv, my children are usually shouting about Polly Pockets or some other dire emergency--so I admit that I might have understood!

19. She has never lost a case...she is known as "Amazing Grace."
That's always been "here claim to fame."

When she did the LK interview, (LK is so uninformed) that he asked her what it felt like when you lose a case. She asked whether it was a "trick" question bec she has never lost a case.

If anyone believes differently, cite the case she lost.

Nancy Grace can be grating as hell, but she is honest.

BTW, I never knew she is only 5' tall (just like me).

20. Lost or overturned equate the same difference.
She isn't honest. She is unethical slime who resorts to cheating to win. She has pulled all sorts of stunts, including withholding exculpatory evidence!

irritated by her theatrics and "everyone is always guilty behavior". That alone skirts the ethics question.

30. As I have mentioned before- she lacks the temperment
to be a prosecutor- which is probably why she isn't one anymore.

There's these little things in law called "prosecutorial discretion" and "professional responsibility" that some people still believe are important.

Justice is NOT baseball- it's not (or shouldn't be) about the score.

14. I do agree....
...that Nancy funnels her unresolved bitterness and anguish about her fiance' into current situations.

No doubt, her losing a loved one to violent crime--has fueled her determination and appetite for prosecuting alleged criminals.

I also see that sometimes she's misguided and she can be overzealous.

However--I will also say this. If someone harmed my husband or my children--and we knew who committed the crimes--I would want Nancy Grace prosecuting the hell out of their sorry butts.

26. she's a total whackjob...
Last night, she had on an attorney who referred to the parents of the Jackson victim as 'grifters'. She went batshit, screeching "Didn't they teach you a little something in law school called 'slander'?" and threatened to cut his mic. Just jumped out of her chair at this guy.

It's interesting to contrast this with her show earlier in the week, when she allowed Pat Boone to babble on and on about whether Michael Shiavo beat Terri, and that the fact he doesn't want an autopsy indicates that he has something to 'hide', blah blah blah. Where was her little lecture about 'slander'? Why didn't she threaten to cut off HIS mic?

She's completely deranged. But hey, it's cheap entertainment.

She's got to be one of the least-liked "personalities" on TV.

The only time I enjoyed seeing her was when Scott Peterson's father called Larry King while she was on his show, and basically told her what a slimeball she is - in great detail, I might add.
