Does anybody know about this (dealing with FCC)?

I'm listening to Bernie Ward and he has this special segment where people can call in and talk about anything they'd like. This one guy called in and is talking about the FCC and how they want to take over cable and radio including channels like HBO and other adult channels and sereas (sp?) network and talk radio. I was wondering if anybody heard about this and had any more details? If this is true I'm so sick of this crap! These people are controlling our lives! :grr: Bernie said an indie from Vermont put in a bill or something to stop this from happening. They also want to go after people who write in newspapers and magazine's and will go after anybody who talks against anybody in the Bush administration.

We can thank our 'great' representative Ted Stevens (R-Alaska) for the idea of the FCC being able to control cable and satallite radio. I have 508 days left in this frozen, nightmare of a right-wing state!
