I remember back when Dean was running for the party`s nomination. CNN held a virtual religion contest between Dean and Bush without so much as a hint of understanding toward New Englander`s practice of NOT openly discussing religious beliefs. It`s a private and personal matter here.

in the early 70s those lost souls fell into cults that gave them answers and made them feel like they couldn't come up with thier own.The un-inteligence community here got the mid east all fundied out to not go communist (gotta get that oil).

When they become well trained fighting and killing machines they still pose no threat to progress,they have been duped into devolving ,thinking it will be simple and they can handle it.They need answers because thier leaders tell them they are stupid and the world is going to end anyhow then they get to go to the good place.They have been told that life is evil,it's sad because the only thing they are allowed to wonder about is death.

necessarily RWers yet many of the RW Fundies call themselves that.
As long as the RW Christians hold power within the Repub party they will keep pushing their fanatical agenda and the Repubs will bend to them as far as they can bend. Most Amerikans are not Fundies yet the agenda has been framed to snare any that do hold Christian beliefs. Liberal Christians have been slow in speaking out against the radical right although there have been attempts made, the Fundies are more vocal and strident. All Amerikans that do not wish to live under a Corporate RW Christian Dictatorship should be railing against this juggernaught of the Christian Fascist movement.
