PHOTO - Lynn Cheney in Wonderland
Edited on Sat Mar-26-05 01:45 PM by paineinthearse

Accompanied by all sorts of story book characters, Lynne Cheney the host of the 2003 White House Easter Egg Roll, addresses the media on the South Lawn Monday, April 21, 2003. "But most of all, we are proud of all of you, the men and women who serve our country, who keep our country free," said Mrs. Cheney in her opening remarks welcoming U.S. military families to the event. This recycled photo is in the White House's featured area. Stay tuned for tomorrow's "through the looking glass" episode.

4. Through the Looking Glass - Queen Alice
"WELL, this is grand!" said Alice. "I never expected I should be a Queen so soon -- and I'll tell you what it is, your Majesty," she went on in a severe tone (she was always rather fond of scolding hersef), "it'll never do to loll about on the grass like that! Queens have to be dignified, you know"

So she got up and walked about -- rather stiffly just at first, as she was afraid that the crown might come off: but she comforted herself with the thought that there was nobody to see her, "and if I really am a Queen," she said as she sat down again, "I shall be able to manage it quite well in time."

5. Ever since her "He's a bad man" speech
I get nauseous every time I see that vile woman. Just the fact that she called a good man like John Kerry "bad", while she's married to one of the worst criminals in American history is all I need.

That's how she will be remembered.

6. ugh
You know, out of this whole crew that's nominally 'in charge', I find her the creepiest - even more so than her leering husband.

She's the open face of dictatorship - witness her open attempts to go after liberal professors. Hitler went after the universities as well - obviously her role model. And here this evil woman preens with children's characters, like some wholesome paragon of virtue - she just makes my skin crawl.
