Is the TS thing a ploy to get protestants behind Jebbie?
I'm wondering about this, because Jeb converted to Catholicism and I thought JFK was the only Catholic pres we've had. I know he was the first. Sorry in advance if this is factually innaccurate, but I just wonder if they are using this as an opportunity to get the evangelical fundies to see Jebbie as one of their own, so they won't oppose him in 08.

Being how opportunistic these folks are, nothing surprised me, it reminds me of that saying attributed to Ceasar about nothing unites two opponents like the introduction of a common enemy.

here's a link on the religions of presidents

these folks can spin anything, and they will try to make Jeb look like he did everything he could. It wouldn't surprise me if he sent those DSS people there saying "show up, but don't go in". Just think, if he had done all this for Rilya Wilson they'd have found her by now.

edit:
yikes:

Former caregiver charged with murdering Rilya Wilson

JOHN PAIN
Associated Press

MIAMI - A woman who was supposed to be taking care of Rilya Wilson, the foster child whose unnoticed disappearance scandalized Florida's child-protection agency, was indicted Wednesday on charges of murdering the 4-year-old girl.

Geralyn Graham was also charged with kidnapping and three counts of aggravated child abuse in the case of the girl who was suffocated or beaten to death sometime in December 2000, the grand jury indictment said. No body has been found, said Katherine Fernandez Rundle, Miami-Dade County's state attorney.

Graham allegedly confessed while jailed on unrelated fraud charges and investigators later found corroborating evidence, said Fernandez Rundle, who declined to give specifics.

"She basically broke down and told someone in the jail details about Rilya Wilson, including how she killed her," she told The Associated Press in a phone interview

4. Terri's parents have been pro-lifers (whatever that is suppose to mean)
and have Randall Terry as their spokesperson. They have allowed their daughter to be used to further a political agenda. THey think they are sacraficing her for the greater good, but I can't imagine being a pawn in their game. I would never use a friend or family member- not even a stranger's misfortune, manipulate it and lie this way.

9. sorry, but the evangelicals are split according to a poll
I just saw, about 51-49%. If they truly believe that these folks elected Bush, then they have to run a campaign to show Jebbie in a good light.

the cops told them they weren't getting in unless they had the judge with them.

Did you miss this...from LBN: (this has Jebbie all over it)

Police 'showdown' averted (Fla. agents tried to "rescue" Schiavo)

Hours after a judge ordered that Terri Schiavo was not to be removed from her hospice, a team of state agents were en route to seize her and have her feeding tube reinserted -- but they stopped short when local police told them they would enforce the judge's order, The Herald has learned.

Agents of the Florida Department of Law Enforcement told police in Pinellas Park, the small town where Schiavo lies at Hospice Woodside, on Thursday that they were on the way to take her to a hospital to resume her feeding.

For a brief period, local police, who have officers at the hospice to keep protesters out, prepared for what sources called ``a showdown.''

In the end, the squad from the FDLE and the Department of Children & Families backed down, apparently concerned about confronting local police outside the hospice.

''We told them that unless they had the judge with them when they came, they were not going to get in,'' said a source with the local police.

7. You get the gold star
Jebbie's pandering like crazy trying to get the religious folks behind him for his run in 2008.

Anybody who thinks he's not running in 2008 needs to stop kidding himself. He may deny it for now, but it's his destiny after watching his big brother blunder and bungle for four years.

His momma told him so.
