Enough is enough
Today I went to my mailbox and received five pieces of junk mail from crdit cards. They are not only sending applications, they are now sending blanks checks in the mail. No way, I am sending these all back telling them to take me off their mailing garbage list.

one, Aspire with blank checks
two, Discover card
three, Bank of America
four, Chase
five, mbna

By the way, I have a line of credit you wouldn't believe!

Screw these people, I don't want debt so stop inviting me to have debt.

I was so angry this afternoon. I received one bill, and two insurace advertisers and five credit places.

1. I could buy a Rolls Royce on credit TODAY
The amount of credit these firms are offering is mind-boggling. They want to get you so far into debt you can't get out (thank you Senator Biden!).....then you go into the poor house.

8. Thanks
I have two credit cards, each get one tank of gas each month. Both are paid off each month. One is for minor emergency and the other is for major but not to exceed $4000 emergency.
But I'm so tired of the offers, I already tried to screw up my credit once, and I'm not interested in trying to do it again.

7. Send them back
They all come with postage free envelopes. But shuffle them up first. Send the MBNA to Chase, BOA to MBNA, etc. After about six months they quit. Costs them, doesn't cost you.

9. Those Checks -- I Shred Them the moment they arrive.
They've got My name and My Account Number on 'em; perfect material for the Identity Thieves.

Another alternative is fill those postage paid envelopes with as much of the Sunday paper as possible. Make sure you don't deface the bar coding on the envelope. You want them to know who the return is from.

I'm off to the beach this morning, so I'm going to pick up some sand and see how that works. You could also cut up lead or sheet metal, but that's too much trouble. Just think heavy.

And mscajun's advice is important: shred anything with your name on it.
