Let's make some popcorn. My money's on Scarborough; he's more likely to be sober.

10. I agree, but at least one of them isn't a "news reporter."
And that's part of the problem.
There are too many pundits like Squint who don't have a lick of journalistic training.
Hitchens, on the other hand, is just a drunk. :D

4. Hitchens knows the pukes have used up their expense account
No more free booze at the Fascist Bar and Grill.

He's just looking for another chump with a pocket full of change.

7. Hitchens has been wrong often enough
but he's nobody's fool. That's his saving grace.

8. Just emailed scraborough, told him was right
about fact that the majority of radical rightwingnuts think the libs love death. And then I mentioned my gratitude that the rest of us (82% of americans) think the rightwingnuts have lost their minds.

hey why not, I had a minute.

9. Dear Christopher,
When you look at Joe, do you see yourself?

Do you still remember a time when people gave a shit what you were saying?

11. Hitchens has a much greater range than Scarborough.
Much greater.

He's too talented a writer to ever be written off. Some of those columns he did for The Nation just shone, and I'm a fan of his essays on the authoritarian impulse in many religious personalities, and of his clear-headed defense of Gore Vidal.

15. I read the Mother Teresa essay & felt he was objecting to the --
-- divination of the woman as opposed to claiming that charitable works were suspicious.

He also made the point that Mother Teresa opposed feminist tenets such as a woman's right to choose, and I more than agree with him on that.
