My tinfoil hat theory...

I believe that by the end of this year the draft will be reinstated and here's how and why...

moron* and his henchmen realize that if they invade or attack Iran or Syria under the same pretense as Iraq (no evidence of WMD's based upon lies) they will have their hands handed to them in the 2006 midterm elections.

So, what to do? I believe part of the Terri Shievo(sp) circus was a testing ground for moron* and company to see what they could get away with. As it turned out, nothing when it concerns peoples personal rights that affect them directly. (Freedom of Speech is still very obtuse to many Americans) .

They reasoned if we could get that past them and get Terri feeding again, they could do anything. So they had to circle the wagons for a little while until the next distraction.

I had written on here earlier this year that, something is going to happen this summer. Either moron* will attack something, stage something or make something go boom.

Well, I believe it will be another bizarre diversion. There will be another attack of some sort upon us.

It has to be early enough to not have a negative effect on the mid-terms but not to late to build a case for the draft.

If something does go boom this summer, there will be an emergency session of congress, lots of arguing about man power, budget, etc...

In the end, they will all agree that a draft will be necessary. That will be around nov or dec of this year.

While all this is going on, what ever the reason for the thing to go boom is or was, will also be debated, people will be outraged and demand action, blah blah blah, but it has to be something that the left also believes requires a response of some sort.
