Where is that picture from?

It reminds me of the few times in my Navy career where attending a religious function was mandatory. Many of us were not pleased to be forced to be pretend believers.

4. yahoo news 180
on their news page they have photo slideshows, this one called 'Iraq'.

fresh off the press this morning.

i can imagine how bitter that must be, and conflicting, religious services in the middle of a war. but it happens all the time.

5. And yet my liberal newspaper ignores it .
I guess I am not surprised at the failure to cover the deaths of thousands of innocent Iraqis , but the lack of serious treatment of our own fatalities and maimings amounts to journalistic malfeasance .

7. Official U.S dead 1,591, but for U.S. military severally....
...injured who were evacuated to hospitals outside of Iraq and later died, that numbers over 5,500 bringing actual U.S. deaths to more than 7,100 and wounded/disabled to 11,000+. Then there is the financial cost now nearing $350 billion. This is a very costly war in terms of U.S. blood and treasure.

8. 7,100?....if the sheep only knew the numbers were so WRONG
they might get real angry. so maybe it's good that so much is hidden from our sensitive sensibilities.

12. Where is a link to these numbers. that is reliable? It has bothered me
all night. TeeVee New$ needs to bend over and kiss their ass good-bye if they have covered up these numbers. It will not sit well with either conservative or liberal. Only the Neocons will rejoice.

10. All I can say is
I`m going to keep on marching, keep on protesting. I remember Vietnam well. The government got away with murder and lies for a long, long time until finally....FINALLY....the citizens woke up and took to the streets. I`m not advocating violence, but to sit back all comfortable and calm at home while Chickenhawks Bush and Cheney pick out cannon-fodder soldiers, well...to hell with that.
