I Missed It... What Was Bill Nelson's Excuse This Time?

I only caught a snippet on the news about what Bill Nelson's excuse was for not standing up for Democrats here in Florida regarding the Schiavo case.

I know he side-stepped, or basically seemed to agree with the Schindlers, but I don't know what statement he made and how he came to that decision.

10. HARKIN Is a Great Dem Like You and Me

His position comes from the Disability-advocate side, which I respect. AND I respect yours, too. That said. I'm with the Civil Liberties side, AND THANK GOD FOR THE COURTS. While I respect that you stood for prolonging, I'm for CHOICE, and OUR legal system found that her spouse spoke for her wishes.

He has been under a MICROSCOPE for 15 years, and if there were any misconduct he would have been removed as Guardian. He wasn't.
