And Jesus said: "Drink this tropical fruit juice in remembrance of me"??
Edited on Sun Mar-27-05 04:31 PM by Bluebear
Note: Happy Easter to those celebrating it today.
------

About 25 demonstrators took improvised Holy Communion: pieces of Saltine crackers kept in a Styrofoam bowl and tropical fruit juice served in Dixie cups. The donation box was a plastic container commonly found in kitchen cupboards.

News photographers stepped between the singing worshipers to snap pictures and the pastors' voices competed with those of TV reporters doing live shots.

"We're stopping the culture of death in its tracks today," said pastor Rick Barnard of Illinois. "We're doing it with the blood of Jesus because we know this is a spiritual battle."

Then he and pastor Chet Gallagher from San Jose said they would try to take Communion to Schiavo.

10. mine too
wasn't it just a year ago that the fundies had a collective orgasm over a snuff film?

And they're the ones who call the day their savior died Good Friday?

And they carry replicas of the thing that killed him?

And they threaten death to all who disagree with them?

They make me want to vomit.

6. "We're stopping the culture of death in its tracks today,"
Has this guy heard that WE started a war two years ago?

And we will start or join others at the drop of a political hat. Everybody gets high on the drugs of "values" and somehow that always translates itself to prooving you believe by killing others.

was too busy fighting the death angel to be protesting for peace. :eyes:
You can't stop death moron. Everybody dies sometime. Did he ever think that maybe she was supposed to go 15 years earlier? Someone made a good point on Bernie Wards' show earlier this week. If it wasn't for all the mechanical stuff (feeding tube) she would've been dead long ago. So how does this man know he's not supporting the evil spirit and all that by keeping her from God?

16. Looks like Barnard is another of those activist nutcases
From Illinois Leader

"One thing we hope to accomplish is to make the public aware these immoral decisions of the U.S. Supreme Court are against God and His commands and principles," said Pastor Rick Barnard of Morris, the OSA's event coordinator in Chicago. "Also, we hope the public no longer accepts these immoral and ungodly decisions as binding on them or their children."

Lack of support stuns visitors

Barnard is pastor of My Father's House of Prayer in Morris, Ill

30. Ann Coulter ? You mean Arthur Coltrane?
Edited on Mon Mar-28-05 10:17 PM by osiristz
Rumors and jokes continue to swirl in the White House and in the Press Corps about the connections, physical and otherwise, between Karl Rove's favorite anal masseur Jeff Gannon/Jim Guckert and the famous trans-sexual drag queen "Ann Coulter." (Who is really Arthur Coltrane of Pickens County, Georgia, sometime scion of a hog-farming family headed by "her" mother, heiress Darlene Coltrane.) In defense of Gannon/Guckert and his revolting escapades, "Ms." Coulter, normally totally vicious toward homosexuals, instead gave Gannon/Guckert a free ride, (so to speak,) and turned her/his viper's tongue on a dear lady old enough to be his/her grandmother, and said: "Press passes can't be that hard to come by if the White House allows that old Arab Helen Thomas to sit within yards of the President."
