These are the ten Presidents ranked by C-SPAN's survey of historians from a few years ago as the worst of all time. They are in chronological order, not the order they appear in on the list.

Pick the best of the lot.

1. I picked Grant

I don't know hardly anything about most of these names, I forgot most of what they taught in school. But I know Grant was a civil war General, and vaguely remember he was a good guy.

3. Grant was not so bad

There was a lot of corruption in his administration, but no evidence that he was ever personally involved in it.

On the other hand, he was a strong suporter of civil rights for blacks.
