The Problem With Republicans And Fundamentalists
is quite simply they cannot fathom that morality and goodness can exist outside of their belief system.

Guess what? They can.

5. & can't dance either
For some reason, the most vocal Christians among us never mention the Beatitudes. But, often with tears in their eyes, they demand that the Ten Commandments be posted in public buildings. And of course that’s Moses, not Jesus. I haven’t heard one of them demand that the Sermon on the Mount, the Beatitudes, be posted anywhere. - Kurt Vonnegut

4. No. The problem is simply that morality and goodness
cannot exist within their belief system.

6. They believe
That all morals come from god. If there is no god, they'll kill people since the universe makes no sense (like it does anyways).

Their main problem is focusing thier entire lives on some book guys in a desert wrote about 1800 years ago and consider it the word of god when there is no evidence for it except for faith. If the universe (the untimate bible) doesn't support it, it has to be wrong.

However, they deny human intelligence (since they don't use it) and believe that humans can never be moral unless given a choice of heaven or hell. That is a very childish view and psychologists put them at the lowest level of moral reasoning. Ghandi and King Jr. are level 3 the highest while Falwell is 1st level. (Enter D&D jokes here)
