Joe Scarborough, riffin' for days on Terri (despite getting the snot beat out of him}.

And it ain't just t.v. I channel flipped to the rightwing radio talk shows today and Glen Beck must be just whacko-crazy in love with death because that's all he wanted to talk about. Including an absolutely hysterical I-wish-I-had-taped-it segue from outrage about Terri to a commercial for Purina puppy food. Something about how they use mother's milk in their chow (not sure if it was a puppy mother or a real woman's milk) and from this he drew some kind of bizarro parallel to Terri's mother and how we all love our dogs. I am not making this up. You can't MAKE this stuff up.

But, anyway, you know who really, REALLY loves death? Vultures, that's who. Media vultures. They absolutely love death, because it sells Cialis, and Sierra Mist and Ditech.com.

And Purina Puppy Chow.

I almost drove off the road. Really, Beck was on this serious, serious rant but HAD to do this commercial and was trying to somehow connect 'em or ease into it or something. And he got all tied up and it got weirder and weirder. Frankly, I was just hoping he meant doggy mother's milk and not human.

Although I really didn't wanna know.

the 100,000 dead Iraqis, and the 18,000 Americans who die every year because they don't have health insurance, and the 24,000 people around the world who died of starvation TODAY, and the 8,500 who died from AIDS.

Who exactly isn't doing anything about those problems?? Who's ignoring those people? Who deliberately lied to start a war that killed people?? That's right: THE CULTURE OF DEATH: REPUKES.

CNN is on in the other room and I'm too lazy to go and change it but all they are speaking of is Schiavo and the Pope. Now they have the death watch for him.
