"DEAD WRONG": WMD Intelligence-that sums up the whole damned war
http://www.modbee.com/local/story/10231144p-11043863c.html

it also sums up bush's whole life and presidency. all those dead people, all those lies.

------------------

WASHINGTON — In a blistering report made public Thursday, a presidential panel said that U.S. intelligence agencies were "dead wrong" in almost all their assertions before the Iraq war that Saddam Hussein had weapons of mass destruction.
The commission said that the inaccurate intelligence assessment, frequently voiced by senior U.S. officials as the reason for going to war, brought harm to U.S. credibility around the world.

"We conclude that the intelligence was dead wrong in almost all its prewar judgments about Iraq's weapons of mass destruction," the panel said.

2. You know how MSM loves to use monikers for the news
I thought DEAD WRONG would reverberate all day long on the news. But all we got were two death watches over thousands and thousands dead. And Bush had a word for Terri but nothing for three more dead US soldiers. Someone in the MSM should have yelled up to him to name the three US soldiers killed.

4. The anti-war movement KNEW they were dead wrong
All of us knew in September 2002 that there were no WMD in Iraq. If we knew, why didn't they?? I am answering my own question. They knew, the inspectors told them, but this administration wanted to have a Middle East military base and an oil supply. They thought it was going to be a slam dunk. And in the meantime, we keep losing our soldiers and civilians are being sacrificed, too. More children are dying of starvation now than before we invaded. Can anyone spell WAR CRIMINALS??

They knew. They had to have known. When Bush, in his 2002 SOTU, talked about the aluminum tubes, et al, and I jumped up calling him a liar, my husband said there was no way he would lie in the SOTU.

Now when I say something is false, my husband listens.

8. There were plenty of reputable people who questioned the info
including the on-site inspectors who weren't finding much of anything. But MSM wasn't doing the job and allowed Bush & Co. to slaughter thousands.

6. And the Shrubery has also been dead wrong
about SS, the economy, immigration reform, education, the environment...man the list could go on and on, but the erotic love affair that freepers and brainwashed nutheads have with this guy will allow the admin and * to squeak by clean as a whistle. That is the most frustrating thing.

7. Caught something on NPR this morning, about there is no need
to investigate this any further. Don't know who was saying it, but he was on the 9/11 Commission or this intelligence committee. Said there had been around 12 'internal' investigations....I'm yelling at the radio, "But why don't we know how much of this was caused by this lying administration. I want the Bush Admin. investigated!!"
