5. He's feeling so so.
Trying to regulate his blood sugar thanks to two shots of insulin a day. He can't have the surgery until that level is lower because of healing issues.

On Wednesday he had another endoscopic ultrasound, but he hasn't called yet to tell me about the results.

At present, he is hoping to have the surgery later this month.
