Terri's death blamed for Pope's condition in Freeperville

I know, I shouldn't, but this was so absurd, I cannot help it.

I wish it were just an April Fools' joke. In truth, I think the Pope was very distressed by Terri's death. It probably strained his heart, the proverbial 'broken heart'. Best I can tell, he watched the Terri matter closely. Sad FReegards....

Terri, if you can read DU in Heaven, I hope you are laughing knowing the RW'ers have basically dubbed you as Terri Christ.

5. "Our Lady" is Mary, mother of God
Not likely that someone with the ID "fatima" would use a term reserved for the BVM to refer to Mrs. Schiavo.

7. I know who "our Lady" is supposed to be
but something about the way in which the person wrote it made me think she was referring to Terri.

be coming. Just be grateful they didn't die on the same day or it would have been seen as a sure sign from god that Armageddon was about to begin. Jr. could have got it in his had that he had to launch the nukes to be in compliance with god's will. Seeing how he has stated, and recently demonstrated, that he is really only bound by god's law, not man's

Irrationality knows no boundaries.

8. I had talk radio on today while I was in the car.
Glen Beck was one of them and they really are way out of line. I never heard such garbage come out of people. I almost was ready to dig up my poor mother who had lost her mind to her illness and set her up to make these people a happy. Pump a little food into her for 15 years. It is really creepy that these people want to feed people who's soul is long gone with their mind. We are becoming a land of the living dead with the creeps standing around selling pop and waving their arms. Scary business.

9. I could just as easily claim Terri hung on as long as she could, but...
once Johnnie Cochran passed away, she couldn't bear to go on any further.

Both Terri and Johnnie were big fans of self-image, Terri with her bulimia and Johnnie with his flamboyant style.

So they must've felt a strong kinship with each other.

Anybody else want to extend this daisy-chain of speculative causation?

11. I just know the Freepers and the Theocons are going to
link Terri and the Pope's death.

Wait till the miracles start happening from praying to Terri!

They'll be trying to nominate her for sainthood.

What strikes me as funny is these born-agains actually think Catholics (along with the rest of us who haven't been born again) are not going to heaven and will be "Left Behind" at the rapture.

Did they adopt Terri in to the born-agains? Was she baptized in their eyes in to their cult?
