I'm imagining reading that headline in a history book from the near future when i'm about 123 years old.

it just can't be good, ominous signs, ill portents, tsunamis, earthquakes, war and armageddon hysteria.

when i was a kid in school, they taught us that the pilgrims came over here to ESCAPE gigantic churches and religious/political tyranny, and now look at us.

it's just not good i tell ya, and i'm starting to believe the anti christ walks the white house corridors.

1. The puritans came here for the Freedom
to practice their brand of religious opression.

2. Didn't we enter the 21st Century four years ago?
I don't remember it being hyper-religious then.

Also, the current religion fervor in the media is a bit exaggerated in my opinion.

I wouldn't be surprised to find out that as many people watch Desperate Housewives as go to church every Sunday.

Try not to buy into the madness. This is far from a puritan state.
