Drudge, as usual jumped the gun declaring the Pope dead awhile ago...

...Before CNN semi-botched it. Wish I'd screen captured it--photo of Pope with headlline "Pope Dies", then as the rumor swirled and was refuted changed it to "Report: Pope Dies", then a minutte or two later disclaimered this with a sub-head saying Italiian media gave conflicting reports--now running pic of Pope with NO headline, but various conflicting subheads below.

Good 'ol "Scoop" Drudge does it again..yeesh!

And what's worse is people are so afraid of being scooped by him they stoop to his level, making them just as fake-ass.

I like how journalists "complain" about how they've had to lower their standards on when something's ready to print since the Monica Lewinsky thing...I'm like no one has a fucken gun to your head, assholes.
