Letter to Scarborough
Dear Joe,
After watching you get bitched-slapped on successive nights by Dr. Cranford and Judge Crier (and now apparently your own wife), I can understand your need to import serial interrupter Jay Sekulow to help you attempt to tag-team Geoffrey Feiger. I hope you realize how foolish you appeared with your repeated entreaties for Mr. Feiger to allow you or Mr. Sekulow to finish a statement. I lost count of the number of times either you or Sekulow interrupted Mr. Feiger at the beginning of a statement, and then the other chimed in and simply talked right over him, refusing to allow the man a chance to finish a thought. Watch a tape of the show, Joe, or, if you can find a live intern, ask her to do a word count from the transcript. That should indicate even to you who was and was not allowed to finish a statement.
Sincerely,

I'm sure that anyone who watched will agree with me. Even for Scabrous, last night was over the top. He and Sekulow droned on interminably, and Geoff Feiger was never allowed to complete a statement.

Told him I don't watch his show, but since he had Geoffrey Fieger on, I wanted to hear what Fieger had to say but wasn't allowed to because they interrupted him and wouldn't let him talk.

I gave Joe hell about it.

edited for tpyo.

Did you notice how G. Feiger was lit? He looked like the devil standing at the top of hell. That whole interview was ridiculous.

4. Damn, I didn't notice it at the time, but you're right.!
As I remember, his entire face had a reddish tint and appeared to be lit from below. These bastards are even more manipulative than I had thought.

6. I wrote to him last week
after he posted a blog that W would be seen as the "defender of the defenseless and the" and the democrats would be seen as the "party of death"...anyways, it went a little something like this...ps - I never heard back.

Joe, Joe, Joe...

You fail to understand what most dems do - there is no other choice (and if you look at the polls, most Americans understand this as well).

If nothing else we are a nation of laws and the courts have ruled that Mrs. Schiavo would not have wanted to live this way. We may all wish the laws were different but all the wishes in the world does not make them different right now. That's the difference between most of us and the right wing extremists (Bush included) - we recognize the reality of the situation. Doesn't make us the party of death - it makes us the party of reality. If she had written her wishes down on a piece of paper we would not even be having this discussion...absent that piece of paper we have no choice but to turn to the courts - or what? Send in federal marshals and defy the courts? I don't think so.

Most democrats like myself are not death promoters, we are promoters of civil rights. Absent that piece of paper, her living will, the courts have ruled that it would be against her rights to FORCE her to live this way. To force her to remain on life support via a feeding tube is to force her to live in a way the courts have ruled she didn't want to live...AND, congress and the President tried to extend her misery against her court sanctioned wishes. It's shameful.

Why should the dems, or any other political party, promote any other view when down here in reality, there was no other alternative than to turn to the court system of the United States of America to resolve this issue - from the local state court all the way to the highest court in the land.

Joe, unlike you, I think most people walk away from this with the view that it's a personal family tragedy...and, not that democrats are the party on the side of death and George Bush as the defender of defenseless, but that George Bush and many other republicans USED this case as a disgusting political opportunity. May God have mercy on them.

of any kind. Even my rethuglican senator, Frist, at least sends back a form acknowledgment.

19. Yeah, Frist is good with the form reply letters. Thompson was a
jerk but at least his replies had SOMETHING to do with the subject I emailed him about.

:hi: from Nashville! I need a Beale Street fix pretty soon...

10. Are you saying that Scarborough and Catherine Crier are married???
OMG, what a shock and disappintment THAT is to me if it is true. I have enjoyed and admired Catherine Crier for 15 years now, ever since she had a show on CNN called "Crier & Company." It was a great show, she always had on 3 women politicians, newsmakers and/or pundits to talk get a women's perspective on the days events. I sorely missed her when she went to 20/20, and they rarely used her. For years I wondered what happened to her and was please when she showed up on Court Tv.

Darned, that is disappointing to think that she is married to JS!
