Delay types hate Catholics as much as they hate Jews, gays and blacks. Now the pope has wiped Schiavo out of the headlines.

God or whoever works in mysterious ways. heh heh

1. Real pissed.
It might be harder to get the nuclear option passed now to appoint puke judges.

2. As much as I loathe the "news" sensationalizing and recycling...
regurgitating the same story over and over and over again...I much prefer seeing shots of St. Peter's square than shots of the fundie nut whackos outside of Terri's Hospice.

At least there is some discussion from people other than Randall types.

It was disgusting to see so much wrath and hate surrounding someone's natural death during the 14 day Terri episode, unlike what we are seeing surrounding the pope's death.

....threatening judges.

"You should be aware that your comments yesterday may violate a Federal criminal statute, 18 U.S.C. §115 (a)(1)(B). That law states:

"Whoever threatens to assault…. or murder, a United States judge… with intent to retaliate against such… judge…. on account of the performance of official duties, shall be punished "

per letter from Senator Lautenberg leaked to Raw Story:

5. In a way DeLay might be relieved
He could be thinking,"Whew! This'll be another distraction to keep any reporters from taking an in-depth look at all of my ethics violations."

6. I've been looking but I know that the religous right doesn't like the Pope
Part of their whack ideas is that the Pope is somehow an agent of satan.

Something like that.
