http://www.news.google.com and do a keyword search.

It's a great site with breaking news all the time. I use it almost every day.

Berserker, good to know about topix.net. It seems to work well with a ZIP search.

But I'm used to google, so I'll have to evaluate both a little more. In google, for example, I typed in "school shooting Minnesota Indian reservation" at news.google and got 10 pages of citations from many news sources around the world.

topix.net doesn't seem to work as well -- or maybe differently.
