Ohio DU gathering yesterday: Anyone have info on discussions?

I very much wanted to join the gathering in Columbus yesterday, but, given that it was on a Sunday and it's a three-hour drive for me, I couldn't make it. If only it had been on Saturday!

Anyway, I was wondering if anything interesting happened and what you all talked about. If someone could fill me in, I'd appreciate it.

One of these days, I'm gonna get off my duff and try to arrange a DU gathering for Northeastern Ohio!

7. If you make it after October 5, I can attend (I have a trip planned)

Other attendees I can think of: AWD, zbdent, MercutioATC

Would it make sense to have a theme to it, a reason to get together? We could add some numbers to a rally for candidate Jeff (AWD). We could all write a strident letter to our newspapers on a topical subject...just throwing out ideas.

4. May I suggest a someplace south of the city?

We could pull people down 271 from the east and west and north from 71 and 77. I don't have any special place in mind. I'm just thinking of ease of travel.

Let's start seriously getting this together. I'm sure there are more than enough Northeastern Ohio DUers, and there are plenty of places to meet that would be convenient for almost everyone.
