If you don't love your government...
If you don't love and obey your government, then why don't you go back to the United States where your kind belongs?!!

3. I think I get it.

I believe the poster is pointing out that complaining about the government is an American tradition, and therefore the absurdity of Republicans claiming that Bush Administration critics are anti-American.

Am I close?

2. I love my country.
I fear my government under the Bush regime. Does that say what you mean?

4. LOL!
Bucky... you don't happen to be related to Thomas Jefferson do you?

My favorite is that if you don't trust your government, the people dissolve it and elect a new one, right?

But I think we've reached the point where they don't trust us. So should the government dissolve and elect a new people?

6. Thanks all
Yes, yall all get my point. Nice to know I post to a discussion group where people are inclined to think for themselves. I suspect that if the same message were posted to Freepersville, they'd all be going "amen" based only on the generally sanctimonious sound of my comments, without thinking thru to the fact that I was being sarcastic.

I'm of no relation to Jefferson, but I'm a big fan.

7. If somebody asks you "If you don't love America, why don't you
leave it" ask them why they didn't leave when Clinton was running it into the ground, according to them.

When they try to hand you the BS about trying to save it from ruin, tell them that "At least Clinton didn't have you arrested for the same thing I'm trying to do."
