Why do rightwingers still think Clinton has so much power?

it's happening now. The media is jumping on Bush because it's controlled by Clinton. Tenet backstabbed him because he's being manipulated by Clinton. Bush really won Florida but he had too much trouble getting credit for it because Clinton put up obstacles in some way. The UN didn't give Boy George a blank check because it's controlled by Clinton. Clinton was behind McCain's campaign because he couldn't let Bush get the nomination.

These are all theories I've heard. It's like they see the world at war, between "the good guys" being the illegimite adminstration we have now and Clinton lurking in the shadows, trying to bring the end of humanity as we know it. Clinton was so successful and we all benefited from his Presidency....We are not in the comfort zone under *bush. They need to try and trash him in effort to discredit all the accomplishments......They try to bring him down tho their level....Note I say they try.....

It's really that Clinton represents all the things they can't get their little minds around. In 50 years this will no longer be a dominantly white society, it won't be a place where undereducated white men get the good ol' boy network's affirmative action to management level anymore, it won't have the present medieval economic order. And yes, Clinton is our Ulysses Grant figure now, coordinating the crushing of their power by our political armies from behind the scenes. An impalpable presence responsible for everything and nothing as they feel their Second Lost Cause increasingly strangled, their dreams of power crumbling inexorably before the many agents of change.

Clinton is more popular with everyday people than ANY repuglican, Including their darling Raygun. So much, in fact, that wherever he goes, there are still HUGE crowds of adoring Americansoverjoyed to meet him. No first amendment zones either. It sticks in their craw that their "popular" resident is met by so much hostility everywhere. They have a massive inferiority complex, which is why they want to put everyone else down.

They are afraid that they will be forced to pleasure the all powerful penis.

He has gotten into their psyche so much that it will take an exorcism to root it out. Even after all these years it's really an amazing thing to watch.

If the people are not really happy with your plans get someone to hate. So they run on no taxes and we hate Clinton. Clinton is a sexual being and he flaunts it and he is succesful. Clinton proves the lie in fundie thinking and they can't stand that because they really want to be like him and can't let themselves. I'll bet that a majority of male right wingers would like to have a blow job by Monica if no one ever found out. Clinton got one and they didn't.

Hillary the "feminazi" represents the archtypal, evil, powerful female. It's a primal fear -- ya know, the vagina with teeth.

You can't even go through a thread about the Democratic primaries without some right-winger moaning, "But wait! Hillary will jump in at the end!"

Some right-winger got a solitication for some political conspiracy book recently. She interpreted it as a definitieve news article that Hillary Clinton would run in 2004, and all of the other wingnuts joined her for a never-ending thread about it.

The Clintons are what really solidified the hard-core right wingnuts in the nineties. The Clintons themselves had nothing to do with it--it was right-wing talk radio, etc. all the politics that got them all fired up. When the wingnuts found they had a common "enemy" (thriving on an "us versus them" provincial mentality), they were off and running. This continued for years, and they just can't shake it.

They can avoid responsibility for themselves and their stupid leader by blaming everything and anything on the "librul" media.
