Tribute to Jeff Matson on The Guy James Show Saturday. Keep kicked please

I don't know exactly what time as of yet but I believe we cannot let Jeff's passing go without honoring him for being a friend to all of us. He picked us up when we were down even when he was extremely ill himself.

Please keep this kicked so that we can let everyone know about Saturday's tribute to Jeff.

Can you link me to more on this. He was one of my favorite DUers. I hear him a couple of times on Guy James' show. This is sad, sad news to my weary ears.

the "New York Bureau" calling in with sage words of wisdom nearly every week. He was a kind and compassionate soul and he will be missed dearly.

How appropriate... I heard his "voice" via The Guy James Show (always nice to put a soundtrack to the author of written words one has frequently read.... Oh - how greatly he will be missed.

I will leave the bumper sticker I got from him on my car forever.

This is the first I am reading about Jeff's death. I am in shock. Will miss his calls into the show and his posts.

His deep concern and involvement in the country's present and future were remarkable.

He went to so much trouble organizing and driving that political revue to have it ready to go in New York during the Republican Covention.

I just saw his beautiful work he did for Ben Burch's White Rose Society website. It was WONDERFUL.

He contributed SO MUCH over the years, and we were all more informed, and involved because of his gifts of time and self to D.U.

Do you remember how he discussed walking home across the bridge during the blackout a couple of years ago, mentioning store keepers actually handed out bottles of water to workers trying to get home on foot because the traffic was hopelessly shut down? I found that shared experience with DU'ers so endearing.

He was everyone's friend, and he surely knew what's going on politically.
