Charles and Camilla feck it up yet AGAIN!!!
This is actually getting kinda funny...the wrong date on all those teatowels, ashtrays, cups and geegaws, the Pope ruining their fun, the "ordinary folk" refusing to give up their afternoon wedding slot at the registry to suit them, forcing them into an earlier union...and now, they are delaying the blooming Grand National!

Now the Grand National falls at lofty hurdle of royal wedding

It is a glamorous event of national importance that has been generating gossip for weeks and requires exhaustive preparations to house VIP guests.

But even the Grand National has found itself added to a growing roll call of chaos caused by the postponed wedding of the Prince of Wales and Camilla Parker Bowles - as well as Windsor shopkeepers and dozens of officers in the Thames Valley Police.

Organisers of the 166-year-old steeplechase, which is worth £250m to the British economy, announced they were delaying the start of the race on Saturday afternoon after negotiations with the BBC about the clashing coverage of the day's two big events.

The alteration to the start of the famous horse race from 3.45pm to 4.10pm was forced after it was decided to show the royal wedding on BBC1 from midday until 3pm and start broadcasting from Aintree just 15 minutes before the scheduled start of the big race....

4. If they postpone the wedding, they might have trouble finding a
reception hall. Those things fill up fast!

:)

7. Nah, Windsor Palace is where it is happening
They actually wanted to get MARRIED there, but the problem is, if you, or any citizen, have a frigging wedding in your LIVING room, you have to make it available to the public for something like three years, and the Queen was having NONE of that shit. Her chapel, her rules!

So, it's off to the registry office for a civil union, essentially, and thence to Windsor for a "blessing." (That's basically a wedding without the actual wedding). And then a wee bash for the invited bozos, many of whom will be exhausted from the flight back from Rome.

They should just have the thing at the Indian restaurant right next to the fish and chippy on the corner!!! They'd probably have a better time, and get better food, too!

8. The Indian restaurant remark isn't that far off ...
takeaway lunches from Mumbai ...

Two of the famous lunch-box, or tiffin, carriers from the Indian city of Mumbai (Bombay) have been invited to Prince Charles' wedding on Saturday.

Raghunath Medge and Sopan Mare are two of the dabbawallahs who pooled money a few weeks ago to send Charles and wife-to-be Camilla Parker Bowles gifts.

Prince Charles met the tiffin carriers on his trip to India two years ago.

Mumbai has an estimated 5,000 tiffin carriers delivering about 175,000 lunch boxes daily in a century-old tradition.
