Poll question: Were the election today and these were our choices...
Edited on Mon Sep-15-03 09:24 PM by gully
Who would you support for President?

In an effort to be 'diplomatic' I'm chosing the perspective front runners from select parties (and assuming Nader and Buchanan run.)

1. Dean...
Though if he selects a DINO like Lieberman I will likely feel an urge to support Nader. I'd still probably support Dean though.

8. Dean reminds me too much of John McCain... And I have never been on
the McCain wagon. If the choice were between GWB and McCain, then McCain would get my vote. I will vote for Dean if he is the Democratic Nominee, but I would prefer Graham, Kerry, or Clark.

13. That's a horrendous picture of Clark.
Really awful. Not quite as bad as the one that had him dressed in fatigues pointing the way for the tanks but incredibly unflattering.

11. Still undecided about the democratic candidates.
All of them are good. I would have a really hard time voting for Lieberman... but I would do it if he is the only choice left against Bush.

12. I'm with you
I'm not ready to devote myself to any candidate, as there are things I like about all of them. I have no illusions that Dean's a liberal, but that's okay, as I come from a state (Illinois) with a good history of moderate Republicans that at least consider and work with liberal/progressive issues; moderate Democrats are even better.

Still, there's not a candidate in the bunch that I think would be unelectable (even Sharpton, and he's probably got the most baggage), nor is there a candidate that even approaches the walking disaster that some people call George W. Bush.

Who knows they may pose as Greens and bash Dems openly with out retort? Not to insinuate any of our Green friends here are incognito, OK? But, I bet we'd be surprised if we knew who some of the Freepers-Bush voters were?

22. interesting
on this site Dean supporters have been accused by some people that if we didn't get our candidate nominated that we would take our marbles home and not support the democratic nominee. We even had a poll a while back which indicated that most Dean supporters would support the Dem nominee even if it isn't Dean--yet, here we have, admittedly a incomplete poll which indicates if Dean is the nominee that 27% of the people would not vote for him--that 10% would actually vote for Bush!! I hope those people are invading freepers.
