The Petty President - Why Did Bush Snub Jimmy Carter? >>>

Five American presidents in a row eagerly sought audiences with Pope John Paul II, even when the pontiff expressed strong opposition to some of their policies, such as President Clinton's support for abortion rights and President Bush's invasion of Iraq. All five who occupied the White House during John Paul II's 26-year papacy - Carter, Reagan, George H.W. Bush, Clinton and George W. Bush - beat a path to the Vatican. (AP Photo/Files

3. Because from those pictures ...
it looks like the Pope liked Carter, while * got a thrashing about starting a pre-emptive and unnecessary war.

4. Oh, did you expect Boosh to go all the way to Rome without his Mistress?
That would be a hardship. He could have left the Mistress and taken Carter. Of course my mom thinks he should leave Clinton and take Carter. But then again, she thinks Clinton is the devil. What are you going to do?

13. I think Clinton, as the younger man, should give up his seat for Carter
That would be a humiliating spanking for the Chimp, and a lesson in civilized behavior.

5. my guess is because he'd have to look carter in the eye.
carter would be the only man in the delegation with integrity beyond that of an alley cat. bush would -- and should -- be ashamed to have a man as good as jimmy carter, who actually lives his faith, sharing a plane ride with him.

then, of course, carter has made the horrible gaffe of actually criticizing bush, who's such a nut job that he can't stand anyone who's not in total agreement with him. petty little shit.

but by snubbing carter, bush verifies for the rest of the world the kind of guy he is.

6. Wow! Looks like the Pope liked Jimmy Best of All!
Those pictures of Pope John Paul II and Jimmy Carter are wonderful! Thanks for sharing. It's a shame that Jimmy isn't invited. He should go! The Pope would have wanted him to come.

9. Because that little pecker can talk the family values, democratic
values, and peace and justice TALK, but in two terms he hasn't been able to walk the damn walk like Carter did. Chimp is FAKE humble, Carter is the real deal. Remember how the GOP whined when he said put on a damn sweater and turn the heat down to 68?

Carter doesn't just speak, he ACTS. He lives it. Chimp couldn't carry his bags (course, Carter always carried his own!).

12. Charlatans have always been afraid of the real deal.
When you have a true masterpiece and piece-of-crap copy side-by-side, it is easy to spot the differences.
