For the benefit of my fellow DUers that are not familiar with the political situation in the Philippines, I recommend you Google the recent military mutiny by Filipino soldiers in which, in addition to complaining about rampant corruption among high ranking officers, they also charged that in the military had staged "terrorist" attacks as a pretext to get US troops in their country, as President Arroyo wanted.
