Martinez was WARNED about his HABIT of passing the buck.
Sen. Martinez is blaming a top-level staffer for the Schiavo memo. Apparently, he makes a habit of passing the buck elsewhere, something the St. Petersburg times warned him about right after he was elected:

"When challenged, Martinez was too eager to assign blame to his staff or to groups he said he couldn't control. As a senator, he will need an office and a staff that speaks with the measured and centrist tone he says will be his own. He can't pretend to be above it all if the people he employs are not.

6. Doubtful. More likely, he end up working for a lobbyist or maybe
get promoted to the majors, the RNC. People like this have the right Republican values. He took one for the team....he'll be rewarded for that.

4. I thought that was a requirement for a Republican. Never take
responsibility for anything.

5. If he can't manage his staff, he can't manage his job. Theme one
in the next election.
